Poway Polo Club

Poway Polo Club is an approved sub group and represents PVRA as a member of the United States Polo Association (USPA). Poway Polo competes in numerous southern California arena polo tournaments, and hosts local arena tournaments as well, located at 14336 Tierra Bonita Rd., Poway, CA 92064.  Poway Polo has an impressive roster of young players brimming with talent for both middle school and high school aged students, as well as an off-season training program for intercollegiate and summer grass players as well.  Alumni of Poway Polo's Interscholastic/Intercollegiate program have won both the USPA West Regional Championship and the USPA national championship tournaments. Members and alumni of Poway Polo team have won & hosted various USPA national tournaments, including the Amateur Cup, Sherman Cup, Delegate's Cup, USPA Arena Championship.  Additionally, members from Poway Polo have represented the USA in international competition in England, Chile, Argentina, Canada, and Mexico, to name a few.  Poway Polo has a place for everyone, and helps all polo lovers who want to play at any level.  Poway Polo is fully lighted during the evening and open year round, there is no closed season.  Come join us! 


Polo Schedule:


Poway Polo meets on Tues and Thurs evenings at 6pm (weather permitting). Stick and Ball warm up/practice from 5:30 to 6:00. and most Saturday mornings around 10am, stick and ball practice at 9:30am. 


Club Chukkers are for all levels, from first timers to advanced players.  There are chukkers for everyone. Poway Polo itself does not maintain any rental horses, but you may contact chukker coordinator Parker Scott at sandiegopolo@hotmail.com, to arrange for one from available privately owned rentable horses from club members.


PVRA Membership: You must be a PVRA member to play Poway Polo.
